Kapitel 1: Irene Pov

"Don't make me do it, Irene." He groaned in annoyance. But I was so stubborn because I believed I could fight it this time, unlike other times. Even though he had ended up catching me, I had to free myself. So, I closed my legs tightly, struggling not to open to him.

Filled with so much anger, he began to tear my clothes, not even leaving my undies. He shredded them into pieces until I was lying stark naked in front of him.

The tears I was trying so hard to hold back choked me. That moment, I began to struggle to free my hands from the chains that held them erect, but my struggles only complicated the whole situation.

"I told you," he began, and I saw his red glowing eyes spark up in fury. "Don't make me do it, but you chose not to listen."

Immediately, I yelled for him to stop until I woke up to realize it was a dream. A dream that was different from the others I always had.

Was it a warning that I was going to get caught in the next nightmare? And was that what he was going to do to me if he eventually caught up to me?

**********

It was another night, and I rolled endlessly on the bed, feeling rather helpless at the fact that it was night again. Another night where I was going to drift into a long world filled with nightmares.

I was scared of going to sleep after the horrible dream I had earlier that day.

However, there was nothing I could do, so I laid straight on my bed, and waited until sleep took me away.

This time, it was the sound of a bell ringing that forced me to open my eyes. At first, the sight of the blue orbs hanging in the air made me close my eyes; I was definitely in the wrong place. This wasn't my usual place of nightmares.

"Irene." I heard the familiar low growl, and I hesitated in opening my eyes to see. But I believed it was him. Yes. His voice was evidence that my dream had brought me to the right place I had been expecting all along. I wanted to get it all done with, so I could wake back to a peaceful morning — just like I'd been doing for years.

However, I couldn't help but wonder why the environment felt different.

"Irene, open your eyes." I heard him again. This time, I could feel his breath close to my ears. Slowly, I forced my eyes open, so I could see if he was truly the one. Surprisingly, he wasn't as close as I had expected. In fact, when I sat up from the bed, he wasn't around anywhere in the room.

It took me quite a long time to realize that I had been brought to an entirely different room this time. It was smaller but looked more beautiful compared to the usual room.

I looked up and saw that the blue orbs were still hanging in the air. Right in front of me was a table filled with multiple flower vases. I could smell lavender and milk from the distance that separated me from the flower vases. Something seemed odd.

On the floor also, red roses — or should I call them red petals — were lined up. I was stunned for quite a long time as my eyes were still fixed on the beautiful environment. Again, I was forced to ask myself if I was in the right room.

The intruder who kept ruining my pleasant dreams, who had been turning them into nightmares and was hell-bent on not stopping, seemed to be playing games with me this time. Everywhere I looked, and everything I saw, looked so gentle to me. Yet, I couldn't believe that my intruder had become a changed person. To me, he had always been the devil incarnate.

Unexpectedly, I felt my heartbeat rise in fear and panic as I thought of him as though he were in the room. Alongside everything, the horrible memories of how he looked so ugly in wolf form flashed into my head and I shuddered in fear.

However, I had to fight them off, away from my head. If I didn't do that, I was going to end up adding to the fear and pain I was beginning to feel deep inside. And surprisingly, I could already feel my insides throbbing in so much pain at the thought of what he could do to me this time.

Was he eventually going to catch me?

And if he did, what was he going to do?

"Go to sleep, Irene. You're mine for the night." I heard his voice again. I quickly turned on all sides, searching for where the voice was coming from, but unfortunately, there was no one.

And that was it, his spell worked because I fell into a deep sleep later. I couldn't say if I woke up in about a few minutes or hours but, when I woke up, I found myself in a horrifying room. The sight of the human parts that hung around made me almost puke. Where had he brought me to this time?

Oh, goddess. What was he up to now?

I began to turn around in fear, accessing the room I was in. How do I get out of here?

If he had brought me to a room, then there was no way I could run from him. I'm pretty sure he must have locked the doors.

"I told you," I suddenly heard from behind me, and I turned swiftly. Shockingly, there was no one. But because I was filled with so much fear, I began to take a step backwards.

"You can't run from me forever." I heard again. This time, it wasn't just his voice. I also began to hear the heavy thumping sounds that I believed to be his footsteps. Each step he made, created a heavy sound. Even if I was still moving backwards, I stopped when I got to the door, and then, I paid rapt attention to know where the sound was coming from.

"Irene!" He yelled and I froze immediately. There he was standing right in front of me.

Just like other times, I couldn't see his face. He had already transformed into his wolf form, with all fours on the ground. He snarled at me, his red eyes glowing in terror.

I began to whimper as tears rolled down my cheeks.

Before I could say jack, he began to run towards me. With full force, I pushed the door open and began to run out. I ran faster and deeper into the woods, looking back occasionally to see if he was still running after me, and he was.

After running a longer mile, I turned to see that he was no longer following me, so I stopped to catch my breath. I was then tempted to rest under a tree.

"Gotcha!" I heard someone snarl behind me.

It was him.

"I promise to make this night one you'd never forget, bitch!" He said coldly and brought out his claws.

"Nooooo!!" I yelled in my sleep until I finally woke up, sweating profusely.
