Kapitel 38: BACK

Jasmine paused with her hands stretched out forward, ready to wrap itself around her father.

"That is not necessary, let's go home", he said and walked away.

Jasmine looked at her father's back and could only sigh helplessly. Mr Davis has told her that she would be out from jail but she spent a full year in it. The person who came to visit her the most was her mother and the number of times that her father came to visit her could be counted on a palm and he never seized the chance to reprimand her about what her actions had done to their company. But she was glad that he was the one who was picking her up.

She sighed again and followed her father to his car and the driver drove off.

"So Dad how is Ethan?" Jasmine asked her father who was seated beside her on the back seat.

"Ethan? He is busy courting that woman. Look here, i want you to do everything you can to make sure that Ethan marries you," Mr Davis said.
