Chapter 5

The moment Ciara stepped into the the dining room, her mum and cousin raised their head and gave her a questioning look. She chuckled nervously and avoid their gaze as she walked closer and took the seat opposite Bianca.

"And why are you not wearing the new school uniform i got for you" her mum, Mrs Richardo asked.

"Well, i just decided to wear this one for the last time before trashing it"

Her mum looked at her amused and then exchanged glances with Bianca before they both returned their gaze to their food and continue eating in silence.

Ciara breathed a sign of relief, thanking her stars her mum didn't force her to go put on the new uniform. She looked around trying to catch a glimpse of her father and right then he walked out of his room.

"Good morning, dad".

"Good morning, uncle".

Ciara and Bianca greeted at the same time.

"Good morning, darlings" He replied as he took the seat opposite his wife.

Ciara drew her food closer to herself as she also began to eat. They all ate in silence as the clattering of spoon against plate was all that could be heard.

After they finished eating, Bianca and Ciara packed the used plate to the kitchen and quickly washed them. They all left home together afterwards as Ciara took a different route to the bus stop. And the rest continued their journey to the restaurant.

As the Richardo's and Bianca continued their journey, Silence reigned among them as everyone of them seems to have different things going through their mind.

They took a sharp turn to a less busy road and as Mrs Richardo was about to cross the road to the other side where her restaurant was located, She didn't notice the car that was speeding towards her.

Bianca raised her head about to cross the road as well when she sighted a car closing up on her aunt. She quickly get hold of her aunt's hand and drew her back making her let go of the stuff in her other hand in shock.

The car came to an abrupt stop right in front of them, Bianca raised her head to look at the stupid driver that was driving like a maniac that early.

The glass of the car was whined down to reveal four occupant. One was the driver, one was occupying the passenger seat and the last two were sitting at the back seat.

She glared angrily at them, expecting an apology but all she got was their stares. They were all staring at her with their mouth agape like some set of idiots.

She felt her anger 💢 spiked up and she angrily took in her lips revealing her dimples in the process.

She hissed and bent down, as she help her aunt pick up the things that fell from her hand earlier. She felt her inside boil in anger.

After going around for some couple of weeks without any emotions, the two emotions that has finally succeeded in breaking loose from where they were caged is anger and hatred. These two emotions finally help her complete the full characteristics of cold hearted, which is what she is.

She stood up and took one last look at the boys, she suddenly felt hatred for these boys grow in her heart. How could they be soo stupid. They nearly knocked her aunt down and yet they couldn't apologize, instead they were looking at her like zombies.

She eyed them and took hold of her aunt's hand as they crossed alongside her uncle.
