My Clingy Wife

overall I didn't get very far into the story. only about seven or eight chapters in. I just found it very frustrating. the female lead physically is clinging on to the male lead and forcing him into marriage so she can Scamp some spiritual energy or whatever from him. her parents are selling her. there doesn't seem to be much pot development or interest into her at least getting revenge for the poor girl who had to kill herself. the whole family is pathetic and it's frustrating. but the author instead of focusing on the little female lead and how she keeps on physically attacking the male lead in an aggressive matter that is sexual but OMG it's totally not sexual she's just trying to get that spiritual energy yo. I can already tell that I'm going to find her character so annoying that it's going to cause me to have a stroke. now she's trying to force the male lead into marriage who literally just saved her life. and the melody just decided to go with it instead of you know throw her down on the ground and kick her in the face for trying to scam him alongside her mother lol. I mean she's not really trying to scam him out of money but she's writing on the fact that her mother is trying to come to pay several hundreds of dollars of Yen and dowry to force a marriage on him and I'm just kind of disgusted by it all and I guess I just don't have the patience for this kind of female lead who the author writes like this and it's supposed to be cute. either way the translations not bad. there's not much World building yet but the novel still pretty new. I don't have much faith for the female to have any character development. at all. lol. I'm imagining it's just going to be a bunch of quirky scenarios where she keeps on physically sexually assaulting the male lead until he falls in love with her and shenanigans happen in the village and she somehow gets back at her family or whatever. and they're probably never going to mention the fact that all the other sisters have been sold into horrible marriages and the sick son is pathetic and crying about it but not really doing anything. she's probably going to heal the sick son in the future but the other daughters are still going to be stuck in horrible abusive marriages cuz they were sold when they were children even though it's the eighties and blah blah blah China sucks back then but this is a romantic story so we can all ignore that cuz cultural reasons blah blah blah
