Kapitel 6: CHAPTER SIX( FRAGMENT HUNTER)

For as long as I can remember, I've always lost the people closest to me, first my mother, then my best friend, my partner and many others all because of this forsaken power of mine, after losing almost a hundred of people to this people who call themselves fragments, I decided to live my life in isolation, I barely made any form of interaction with humans if not needed, after fifteen years of loneliness, I was found by a little girl and her elder brother. They took me back to their village where I was treated well even with my failing mental state, as time slowly passed so did my mental scars begin to fade, the void in my heart was filled with new memories, things continued going well for me until one day.....

" Big brother Alex!" Mia,the little girl now a young woman in her twenties called out to me panting, blood flowing from a wound in her chest "Big brother Alex, the village the village is under attack" .

My eyes widened as I heard those words, the forgotten events of my past began to flow back into my memory, I quickly used my healing ability to heal her wounds and rushed back to the village or what remained of it, the village had been razed down to the ground, everyone in it killed by the people in black robes led by a woman who I felt a familiar aura from "A FRAGMENT"

"Oh, so you know what I am, I never knew someone living in this village could be so knowledgeable" the woman chuckled "Or could you perhaps be the FRAGMENT I was searching for"

The rage I felt at that moment was the most I felt in my life, if looks could kill, the woman would have died a thousand times by now

"Hey, I know I'm attractive but don't you think it's rude to stare at a lady so intently"

" Is that all you have to say" I asked, anger evident In my tone "After killing innocent people that's all you have to say"

" You're no fun, and here I thought we could have fun a little before we got to business " she replied Cody

" I'd rather die than have anything to do with someone like you " I answered with an even more venomous tone

Her face brightened " You're in luck then, cos I'm here to grant that wish of yours"

"Too bad for you then" I snorted "you lost that chance a while ago" my eyes glowed red turning her into a pile of stone

"Ohhh, I was beginning to wonder which fragment you are but I think I have an idea now" her annoying voice sounded from behind me.

I looked behind me confused, trying to make heads or tails of what was going on

" I see you have no idea what's going on do you, seeing as you're about to die I shall explain it to you, you've heard people calling us Fragments haven't you, have you ever asked yourself what we were fragmented from" seeing me still looking at her confused, she continued " Actually no one knows the true story as there are different myths and theories about it but one thing is for sure, we're fragments of someone called the 'JACK OF ALL TRADES', no one knows all his abilities but he had four popular ones he could copy any ability as long as he knew the workings of it, if that didn't work he could just defeat the person and steal the ability completely from the person, he could create nine clones of himself each with different abilities personalities and sometimes even gender and last but not the least he had nine lives, not the normal nine lives you know of though, his could be reset specific intervals meaning as long as you don't kill him nine times in succession he would just keep coming back. Having said all that can you guess which fragment I am now, My dear copycat"

" F-fragment, if that's true t-then that means, HE is coming here"

"M-my lady, by HE, do you mean"

"Yes HIM, the man whose battle energy remnant leaves cities in ruins" She took a deep breath

"THE FRAGMENT HUNTER"

" Ha ha " I panted as I inspected my surroundings, after managing to kill her eight times, the d*mned wh*re escaped, no I can't call that an escape, it's like she completely vanished, no trace of her scent or aura anywhere, like she never existed but I knew very well that she did, the injuries I have on me and the huge crater I'm in are both proof of that.

" Big brother, the woman is she ?" Mia asked from outside the crater

"No, she escaped, let's bury the dead and get out of here before she returns"

At that moment I decided to change, if the other fragments aren't going to let me live in peace, I won't let them either, instead of being the prey, it's about time I change and become the 'HUNTER'"
