Kapitel 466: The Old Man's Sanctuary, A Place that Mortals Never Reached Before

After picking up the crystal that fell to the ground, Mark did not return immediately. He was a bit complacent when he obliterated the giant's body, causing that last attack to happen. Seeing that even a single eyeball was capable of releasing such an attack, he scoured the area a bit more, ensuring that no remnants of the giant's body remained.

Mark went on a few circles around the scorched area and its boundaries. While he did that, many of the races that escaped during the second half of the battle had returned. They returned not because they were only curious about the outcome of the fight. They came back to search for the remains of their comrades.

Diwata Danaya did her best to secure everyone's safety when the giant grew those humongous eyes on its body. However, being a single individual, she alone was not enough to save everyone.

Here, the Chapter for Today... I made it early. I want to sleep.

The speculation of you guys are on point. The Old Man is Bathala in his current state. He seemed to be very strong, but it looks like he is very far from his strength back in the days.

The place where Bathala lives looks amazing, I want to live there too...

Anyways, the conversation started. Now, we will hear the answers of many questions we had in the past, and possibly, the origins of Mutagen and Psypathogen.

Also, here's a brief explanation of some words and names used here.

Mahabaging Bathala - Mahabagin meant Compassionate. In the Filipino language, we mostly add some descriptive honorifics when addressing our gods. It doesn't change no matter what religion we had, though, it was very rarely used nowadays.

Tigamanukan - Messenger Birds of Bathala. They are magical birds that bring Omens and Oracles to people when needed. These birds were also responsible for the legend of Malakas and Maganda, the first man and woman in Philippine Mythology. In another version of the legend, it was the Deity of Peace and Wind, Amihan, who took the form of this bird and opened the bamboo where the first man and woman came from.
