Together with Pearl, she was frying the breaded octopus cuts using a portable stove. Even with the sizzling sound of the oil in the saucepan, she could hear the noise coming from outside.

Mark ruffled Mei's hair as he stood behind her to see the octopus inside the saucepan. By Odelina's teachings, Mei, who barely had experience in the kitchen before, could now cook dishes perfectly.
