Kapitel 11: CHAPTER 11

<YANG YU'S P.O.V>

Yu sat in class as he thought. May was continuously coming to his Practice room even after he told her to stop. Today she even brought Karu with her. When they'd run to class Yu remembered that he and Karu were in the same class.

Yu dozed off in class, and when the bell for the end of the day rang, he walked to Musical Sky's practice room with Karu. As they walked Karu seemed to be looking for something, but Yu couldn't figure out what. Suddenly Karu stopped and stared down the hallway. Yu stopped too, to see what he was looking at. "Hey Karu what are you looking for?" He asked as they continued walking. Karu looked at him then returned to looking around.

"That room I saw this morning, I don't remember seeing it on the school maps.

"Ah," Yu realized what Karu was talking about and smiled slightly.

"You won't find it by looking down the hallways, it's a small storage room that's attached to one of the classrooms. I'm not sure exactly which one though, I've checked the different classrooms before and couldn't find it so I'm guessing the door s behind some kind of bookshelf or just covered over completely with an extra layer of wall." Yu didn't look at Karu as he spoke but he heard him sigh. They were silent for the rest of the walk to the club room, but it didn't really bother Yu.

When they arrived nobody else was there so Yu sat down and grabbed his folder and pencil and started working on some notes. May had asked Yu if he could write down the sheet music of down to earth for the drum, electric guitar, and Bass. He wasn't sure, but Yu had a hunch that she might recommend having a concert soon. Ah, that's right I never asked. Hey Yu how did you find the secret room anyway?" Yu glanced at Karu when he heared him speak. He was leaning back on the couch, looking out the window.

"You mean the storage room?" It was a stupid question, the answer was obvious.

"Mm." Was his only response.

"In my first year, I was over at the side of the school avoiding a crowd of girl that was hovering outside my classroom, and I noticed that one of the windows was really dusty, It wasn't locked so I crawled inside. After that, it took me a while to clean it since there was so much dust."

Karu was silent for a moment before responding. "I see."

Soon after, the others arrived and practice continued like normal. Without any real goal everyone mostly just practiced using their respective instruments. Yu listened to everyone play and took notes on how to improve, so it could be better incorporated into different types of music.

After a while, Komaki announced that he was tired and through himself dawn on the couch. Yoku stopped playing and stood up. He walked over to the snack shelf and grabbed some chips and a bottle of water, then he walked over to the couch and sat next to Komaki.

When Yoku sat down Komaki tipped to the side and rested his head on Yoku's lap. Yu had seen this happen on almost every day there was a practice, sometimes even when there wasn't and they were just resting here to escape the crowd.

Komaki took the bag of chips from Yoku and started eating, while Yoku silently watched. Yu had realized that Yoku was like Komaki's shadow. Were ever Komaki went, Yoku fallowed they had very similar class schedules. May had even mentioned that Yoku only joined the band because Komaki joined. Yu had heard people describing them as a yin yang pair. Komaki, was the cheerful and childish one that never stopped talking and everyone gets along with, and Yoku, the silent one who although seems quite intimidating will listen to basically anything you say. He didn't show much emotion, but he cares a lot about his friends. They're complete opposites but yet fit each other perfectly. Although May said they're just a pair of idiots.

Yu shook himself out of his thoughts and picked up the guitar that Komaki had just put down and started playing. after playing a few songs May called everyone over to discuss something.

"So~" May clapped her hands together and smiled. "I've gotten permission for us to have a live concert in the school's gymnasium in a little over a month." The whole room was silent for a moment, then Komaki and Karu shot to their feet yelling. Yoku nodded his approval at the Idea, and Yu smiled slightly and crossed his arms, he wasn't surprised, and he'd been suspecting this for a while now.

Karu finally got his composer back and Yoku pulled Komaki back down on to the couch to listen. "Ok, so we have a concert coming up, what songs should we use," Karu asked as he sat back down. May was quiet for a moment as she thought.

"Well, we should do at least three songs and I think we should use 'Down to Earth' since it's kind of like the song that brought us together in the first place. Besides that, I was planning on leaving the choice to Yu." she said as she gazed around the room to see everyone's reaction. Yu was surprised by the fact that she was leaving it up to him, but nobody seemed to complain about the idea so Yu excepted the offer.

When practice ended Everyone headed home and Yu started putting together a plan for what songs to use. Yu had helped Rin and Raya prepare for their live shows before so this was relatively easy. Suddenly, Yu got an idea for how to draw in more listeners and smiled as he went to go prepare for the concert.
