42.1% Mrs Li Wants A divorce / Chapter 24: Her Fears Were Not Invalid

Kapitel 24: Her Fears Were Not Invalid

Ashley woke up on the bed. She looked down to see that she was dressed. With a yawn, she got out of bed and walked towards the bathroom, her waist faintly aching. Once she washed her face, the sleepiness had disappeared, and she looked refreshed.

In a happy mood, she took a bath and got dressed in a blue blouse and a flower-patterned skirt which swept the floor. The thought of Nathaniel being in the hospital came back to her. Decisively, she picked up her bag, ready to go to the hospital.

The scene Ashley met with was one that changed her mood. Nathan sat on the couch with Vanessa hovering above him, his hands on her waist. And in Ashley's perception, the two's eyes were locked on each other. The air around them was filled with ambiguity.
