Kapitel 294: Derek's Face Looked Terribly Awful

Nidia had just seen Jackson last night.

The man called Nolan was still in the hospital. It was said that he had lost a lot of blood due to the accident. He was acting arrogant when he entered the hospital but all that arrogance was knocked out of him after the surgery.

One might consider this to be Nolan's fault as he drove through a red light. But, Jackson was ultimately the one who schemed this. Nolan was just stupid enough to fall for that.

Nidia did not know how bad Jackson's mood was to choose such an extreme way to teach someone a lesson.

And also...

He had given up on her and was already disappointed with her. Yet he had still escorted her home and waited until she entered the house safely before leaving.

Nidia could not figure out what Jackson had been thinking.

Jackson was mostly silent and calm when he was not ridiculing her. Nidia could only guess what he was thinking.
