Mia frowned at the costume she was given; it wasn't what she was expecting. Five other ladies were given the same costume as hers. The pinkish dress had touches of yellow, which made it look childish. Whoever recommended the clothes surely didn't want the progress of the company. How could they use something like that in a commercial? When Fiona had told her she would be doing her first gig, she had expected something fun where she would be the lead and not a backup reciting some sort of chorus.
"This is ridiculous," she told Alexis, who also frowned at the costume. Alexis's lips furrowed in anger, and she almost snatched the cloth from Mia to return it, but a humble beginning was important. She had no idea why Mia was enlisted as a backup when she had told the management she wanted Mia to have her own project. She decided to question them later after they were done with the shoot.
