This wasn't Lyra Smith's first time eating at the Jackson Family's house, but it was definitely her first time eating with Morris Jackson, even if it was just a simple breakfast.

She was so hungry that, besides having Morris by her side, she didn't restrain herself from eating.

As soon as Morris finished eating and was about to leave, Lyra hurriedly said, "Wait for me! Uncle, I'll finish eating in a moment."

Emery's breakfast suited her taste perfectly. After eating steamed dumplings, soft cakes, meat buns, and porridge, she couldn't eat any more. But when she saw Secretary Ivan's seemingly delicious noodles, she couldn't resist ordering a portion.

"Take your time eating. Ivan will bring you over later," Morris said gently.

Lyra nodded, thinking that he wouldn't wait for her and feeling a bit panicked, "Alright."

As soon as Morris left.
