"Where are you, Arianna? Do you think I'm some kind of joke? That I have all the time in the world to sit around and wait for you to appear in this courthouse?!" I growled into the phone, my voice stern and menacing.
This was the ninth voicemail I'd left for that infuriating good-for-nothing lover of mine. She wanted this, wanted me? Well, she was going to get it.
"You've got fifteen minutes, Arianna. Fifteen minutes to show up in front of this courthouse, or else... Let's just say I always keep my promises, and you know me well enough to know that."
Beeping off the message, I clicked send, and tucked my phone into my blazer pocket.
With a heavy deep sigh, I adjusted my collar, brought out my phone again and dialed my personal assistant's cell number and issued the instruction.
"Smith, find me a bride ASAP," I barked, my patience worn thin.
