Kapitel 91: Not A Good Ending At All
"I... I remember it now..." Said Ryuma with a despairing tone.
After getting hit by Ten, Ryuma's whole memory blackout like the video tape overlapped one to another. He's so dizzy that he almost vomits, but his muscles prevent him so.
But that did not make Ryuma feel better. Because after a while he immediately realizes it.
(He has the power to materialize an object... He has the power to travel through space... He can turn into glass... And, the power to manipulate memory! Fuck! Despite he has no mana, How many Unique does this guy actually have?!)
Ryuma uses the Firefly and blows up Ten in a 10-meter radius. But before Ryuma knows it, Ten's already right beside him.
"It's useless. Your current action is only a futile attempt out of desperation." Ten swings the dagger at Ryuma, but Kiyo protects Ryuma by swinging his sword at Ten. But the sword goes through Ten, and goes to Kiyo himself.
Kiyo was able to slow down as he almost cut his own neck. But it still leaves a small wound as the blood flows to the wound of his neck. The attempt is futile, Kiyo decides to pin Ten down instead, but he has already escaped from his grasp.
Ten shot a few bullets of M9, towards Kiyo's head, but with the quite wide and big arm he got, Kiyo blocked the bullet with it instead. At that moment, the silvery knives give Ten's ear a slight wound. But Ten did not react at all. As if he knew it was coming.
Along with a few knives that flew on him, Ten uses the warped space and sends the knives back to Kiyo.
"I knew you would do that." Kiyo intercepts Ten through the warped space he made to send the knives back. Kiyo, ignoring the pain pierced by the knives, slashes Ten with his sword.
The slash only gives Ten a minor wound as Kiyo cuts Ten on the torso. Ten back steps as he took the stairs led upstairs.
"Not so powerful now aren't you?!"
"I don't understand what you're saying." Said Ten with a confused expression.
"I'm sorry if I did not fight as to your wish. But right now I'm just trying stuff."
"Huh?! What do you mean?! You're in the battle right now. What are you trying stuff for?!" Shout Kiyo with an angry expression
"I said exactly what I mean. There's no trick in my words."
"If that's the case, If we win this match you'll have to tell me everything! About this school, about their motive, EVERYTHING!!!" After hearing Kiyo's condition, Ten fell silent and thinking. After a while, he answered...
"That's quite risky on my side, but okay. I'll agree on your condition."
"Great, then I won't hold back-" Kiyo hadn't finished his words, by then he realized that the surfboard-sized claymore had already pierced his guts. Kiyo didn't see it coming as the blood flowed out of his mouth. Along with the blood coming from the stab wounds, his skin became paler.
Ryuma, couldn't help but watch in fear of memory being erased. Kiyo is losing his strength and is walking on the death door. Ten, locked his dark, and murky eyes on Ryuma. Ten pulled out the claymore and threw Kiyo on Ryuma.
Ten took the bottle that contained the healing potion from his pocket and poured it to Kiyo. Kiyo's wound is slowly restored. Despite that, he's still unconscious. Ten, with the emotionless expression, he opened his mouth.
"You know where to go. Take him with you. Go, this is your last chance. Next time... There won't be any holdback..." As Ten said that, the shard of mirror materialized in front of him, resembling the door. Ryuma couldn't figure out what was on the other side of the door as it was shining brightly.
Despite being bound by fear, Ryuma mustered the courage to speak...
"Why, why didn't you finish us here?!" Ryuma's grasp gets stronger on Kiyo who's lying on his body. Which almost makes the unconscious Kiyo's bone almost broken. Ten stopped before passing through the shining mirror. He turned around to look at Ryuma in the corner of his eyes.
"Because, the story is too short. The current you are bound by fear, and this guy doesn't recognize his own limit he thinks he can defeat me just because he hit me a few times. It's... not a good ending at all."
"W-Wha-"
"Ryuma, what am I saying is I'm giving you the chance to overcome yourself. Do not look back... do not look down... All I will allow you to do is to look forward. Glance of your destiny... Glance of your future..."
Before Ryuma knows it, Ten disappears through the shining mirror. He gazed at the stairs, which led up. To forwards.
"Forward..." Ryuma stands up, while dragging Kiyo on his shoulder, he takes a step forward...
...
"Come back here you bastard!!!" This scene shows the police and robbery chase inside the large building. Mika, who had popped the veins on his head, chased Rio all the way from the ground floor. Rio is already at an advantage because he's confident in his speed and energy which Mika can't catch up at all.
"Give it up Mika, there's no way a turtle-like you can catch me at all~" Rio is getting cocky, Mika on the other hand, the pool of sweat flowing through his whole body but he didn't show any sign of fatigue at all.
"Once again you had no chance to catch me-" Rio didn't realize that he was looking at Mika too much he didn't realize he hit the corner of the wall. Mika took this opportunity like the King Of the Jungle, he pounced on Rio as he fell to the ground.
"Ow ow ow! You're actually using your teeth! It hurt like hell! I give up okay? I give-"
All of a sudden, the sound of broken glass can be heard in the distance. The two looked to their back and met his eyes.
"Damn you Ten! What exactly is safe with this shortcut?! I had glasses all over my body it stings!" Rio and Mika met the figure in a robe, Derugo. As Derugo cleans his robe, he realizes that he's being watched as the eyes lock on each other.
