Kapitel 10: Another Setback

The next morning, Qiao Nian got up early. The Purple Jade Villa was peaceful, as if there had been no issues at all last night. 

"Wow, Geng, these dumplings are so delicious! Oh, this cake is also delicious! I want to pack it for mommy!" 

"Mo Mo, eat slowly. There are still a lot of them left in the kitchen!" Seeing that Qiao Mo was enjoying the food, Qin Geng couldn't help but eat two more mouthfuls of porridge. 

When Qiao Nian came downstairs, she saw such a sweet scene. 

Uncle Liu stood at the side kindly. One moment, he gave Qiao Mo a fried dumpling, and the next moment, he gave Qin Geng a spoonful of porridge. He was over 50 years old and had served the Qin family for a very long time 

After thinking about what happened last night, he knew that Qin Geng's newfound boldness absolutely could not be without the support of Dr. Qiao and Qiao Mo.
