Kapitel 244: The Wound

Silja's eyes started to flicker between her original hazel colour and black. Even though it was night Donovan saw those small changes very clearly.

"Slash…" the dagger cut threw his lower abdomen and red blood trickled out.

She slashed him and smiled. For the first time during the last ten minutes, she has caught him off guard.

At the moment her eyes turned pitch black looking at the blood that was flowing out of his body.

Donovan looked up at the woman, his eyes still couldn't believe what he saw.

Silja was looking at him with his fully black eyes, there were no pupils, not any hint of her previous lively eyes.

All there was just maliciousness.

Donovan's breathing became heavy, he could feel the pain in his stomach yet he couldn't move his eyes away from Silja's.

Silja twisted the dagger and Donovan groaned from the pain.
