Kapitel 308: Helena's Dispire

"Stop yelling," a sudden hard slap landed on Gwen's face.

Helena was hardly holding it in and Gwen's wailing was making her head buzz.

Gwen fell to the ground from the impact of the slap.

The wail she was wearing ripped off her face and her face was a bar open to looking at.

Behind the wail, she was hiding a totally ruined face.

During the time of the kidnapping when Silja has lost her control, she has scratched Gwen's face so hard with her claws.

And later on in absence of proper treatment, those wounds escalated and now there were big scars on her face. Coupled with the redness of a freshly landed slap she was hard to look at.

"Mother, why are you beating me?" The girl cried.

"Beating you? Be thankful that I haven't killed you yet," Helena grabbed Gwen by her collar and pulled her up.

"W-what did I do?" The girl sobbed. She was scared seeing her mother's frightening appearance.
