He called over the second spear he had used to skewer the one he called Berry, not caring for whether or not he'd escape and began to fight in his weird battle formation and swinging them ballistically.

"Desperate times call for carefully calculated measures of equal depravity." He said and the followers replied with a loud simultaneous 'Indeed'.

I was startled at the sheer idiocy that question emanated and I was very close to vomiting.

-{Did you really ask me that?} I asked rudely in reply.

The little bastard inside of me was already wailing, asking why my time on the surface wasn't up.

"If it was nighttime, the forest would be warping and we could escape, but its bright. And Shomari is with them, they'll be done with your Soldiers soon enough. They seemed weaker than usual." She said.
