Kapitel 1: Strategy meeting
Misa Amane.
What makes her happy is the memories she gets to make with her boyfriend, Light Yagami.
She has been thinking of ways on how to break him out of his shell, to truly melt his heart, and share an adventure together with the same perspective she has on life being rubbed onto him instead of the other way around.
She's aware that his passions are real, but his passions come from a place of icy coldness, and although he doesn't want to admit it, it hurts him.
He's only gotten used to it, thinking it's normal or logical, but Misa knows better that what's more logical is to perfect one's own heart along side their mind.
Light isn't ready for love, because he isn't even ready for his passions yet.
So, in order to make him ready, she makes it her aim to tame The Beast, to change their destiny and genre of their soon to be truly shared life story.

[Meanwhile at a cafe]
"Hey, what's on your mind Misa?"
Misa, who was figiting with the straw of her desert cup, snaps back to reality, "Huh? Oh… Hey, you're still into the occult, right? Do you know any things I could do to grab my boyfrie-um, Kira's attention some more?"
"Hmmm… using the occult to grab the attention of a higher power… Well, sounds to me girl that you're after super powers. The only way I see you grabbing the attention of someone who is powerful is by being more powerful than them."
Misa looks at the life span of her friend above her head with her Shinigami eyes, and then turns to face Rem who is watching over them, avoiding passerbyes by pacing back and forth.
Misa thinks to herself, 'Oh yeah! Maybe I can do something to impress Light, maybe that way he wil end up acknowledging me because I'm a game changer in the game he cares more about than anything else at the moment.
Sorry I was going to sacrifice you earlier… I kind of feel bad for treating her so wishy-washy since she's always been a really good friend to me.'.
"What sort of thing should I try to do on my own with those, um, hypocritical superpowers that would grab Kira's attention?"
"Hypothetical. Well, for starters, smarts is a superpower in itself. If you could do something that's smarter than Kira could think of, that might just do it, if you were in close proximity though. So study up."
"I feel like I need to study what you just mean with what you said first though. I don't understand anything.", Misa animatedly rubs her temples with just her two pointer fingers.
She continues, "Also, smarts has nothing to do with the occult. I want to understand more about things like…", she shyly glances to Rem, "Shinigami! Haha.".
"Hm?!", Rem's eyes widen with concern of what Misa is saying in public.
"Wait, so you're telling me that even though you sent a message to the tv station talking about Shinigami, you didn't know anything about it?", Misa's friend asks.
"I'm not that random, I know a bit at least."
"Well, what's actually worth learning? If you don't even have the superpowers we're discussing, then there's no way you would even benefit from studying the occult, maybe only understand Kira's superpowers better, but if anyone could study it, he probably would have been caught by now."
"Kira could never be caught!"
"Then there's no hope for you either, is there?"
"Oh, I wouldn't say anything too soon."
"Why is that?"
"Well, I have a lot of hope is all.", she smiles.
