"So, you're from the western empire?" as they almost neared the end of the spoon feeding activity, Wu put forth a question he coveted to confirm. He himself was equally curious and inquisitive as Yue was about him, but he hadn't had the chance to express it as he was engaged in matters of prior importance.

As simple the question was for Wu, it was heart-stirring for Yue. She spared no effort in concealing her astonished expressions. She had absolutely no idea what the western empire was. She didn't know if Li Mei and Li Hua hailed from the western empire or not.

Not making it any more suspicious by extending the silence that sheathed them, she nodded her head as she took the last bite of her food.

"And how exactly did you find yourself in the middle of the forest of the Northern Empire?" this was the time when Yue choked on her food. She quickly recovered from her shocked state though.
