Tiana's point of view:
A week had passed since the incident. Hopefully, Tristan never showed up in the room I was locked in. I normally should rejoice it, yet, I wasn't.
I don't know why I keep thinking about him while I shall start thinking about running to save my father from Aeron.
I've spent the entire week locked in this stupid room, and it seemed way too impossible for me to leave.
Both the door and the only window here are too covered by Vervain, which means I can stand nearby, but never get to step right at.
Juana keeps my company most of the time, she's the only reason why I still believe that not all werewolves are suck. She takes care of me since I remind her of her daughter.
The poor lady lost her daughter a long time ago, I didn't ask her further about it, but she claims that I look like her.
On the other hand, the books she brought to me seemed quite entertaining. I learned a lot of stuff about the wolves.
Like for example, the reason why the wolves kept finding me that night even when I do remember killing the last ones who saw me, was that they were in touch with each other through a mind link.
I also, learned that there is a ranking in which all the members living in a pack shall follow. Like for example, Juana, she's an omega, that's why she is forced to do whatever high-ranking wolves ask her.
My favorite part, the rejection. If I reject Tristan, then he accepts the rejection, I will stop having feelings toward him.
The worst part is that none of us will have a happy life. Rejecting the moon's gift will curse us by an eternal; misery.
Yep, not all good things are meant to be good till the end.
There was also that book about a special type of werewolves, the one created by magic. They're called, the cursed wolves.
They shift for the first time after activating the curse. Well, that's the most interesting part. The only way to activate the curse is by killing someone.
They first shift at the first full moon that follows activation of the curse.
I got to admit it, the wolves' society seemed quite interesting compared to what I used to know. The worst part about being a cursed werewolf is that it's always painful whenever they tried to shift, also, by breaking the curse, they might get rid of the pain once and for all.
Like each and every day, Juana will join me in a matter of few hours after twilight. Then she'll help me change into another dull-looking white dress. Yes, all the dresses on the wardrobe look alike.
Lost in my thoughts I was when a gentle knock on the door brought me back to reality. It was Juana; I don't for what reason, but I always feel happy whenever I know that she's around.
Right after, the door was opened as she got in holding is deer's blood, along with an object in her hands, a necklace.
"Good morning!" I greeted her without hiding my happiness.
"You've already changed."
I nodded my head, then started explaining.
" I took a shower right after waking up, then changed to another stupid dress, and waited for you."
" That's great to know princess, but I would've loved if you waited for me to help you."
" I'd love if we spent more time talking than you baby setting me."
I spoke without thinking, but she started laughing at my silly comment.
" Here! Some fresh deer's blood to give you some energy."
Feeling too much hunger, I took the sac of blood in a hurry, then started enjoying the metallic delicious taste of blood.
" What's that?" I asked the moment my eyes spot the necklace on Juana's hands.
She took the necklace that was between her hands, then seemed to be lost in the object charm.
After that, the weird silence consumed, Juana decided to speak.
" It used to belong to my daughter, but now I believe it would be better if you wear it."
" I'm sorry, I can't!" I denied her request without thinking, but she insisted.
" Please, it will warm my heart if you wear it!" She pleaded, which made me regret my action.
" Thanks!"
I thanked her right after taking the necklace from her hand, and she seemed happy about me accepting her gift.
What caught my attention was that the necklace was indeed breathtaking. It was made of gold, I can confirm.
Yet, wasn't what took my attention, The necklace has the shape of a full moon, that has a letter written in the middle by diamonds. Guess what the letter was? Well, it's 'T'.
At first, I thought it was more than just a coincidence to have my name's letter on it. Yet, she doesn't seem to be so rich to have such a necklace.
My instincts started screaming danger, and after Aeron's betrayal, I would be dumb not to doubt such a thing.
" What was your daughter's name?"
I asked, and she breathed in and out before she started speaking.
" Talia…"
The mention of the name got my blood boiling, it's too much for a coincidence. I quietly stood on my feet, then using my vampire super speed, I squeezed the lady, then asked while alerting all my body to be ready for an attack.
" Who are you?"
" Can't you feel the bond?" She answered my question with another.
" What bond are you talking about? And why the hell do you claim that my mother is your daughter?"
" Because she is!" It was all she said and struggled to believe her.
" Funny isn't it! Guess that your alpha isn't off with his games. Now, you guys are bringing my long-gone mother into your ridiculous game. You guys are so sick."
" He is not my alpha! I'm an alpha of my own pack. The only reason I stepped into that stupid pack was that to get you out of here…"
" Why would I believe you? Besides, how is it possible that you are still alive if you're indeed my grandmother? Also, my mother was a human, not a wolf! " I rained questions on her, and that didn't stop her from speaking.
" Her curse wasn't activated, but yours is activated. That was the reason your father stopped you from drinking human blood, because he was afraid you would activate your curse, and all the truth would be relieved. Tonight is a full moon, and if you shift, they will know that you are a hybrid now, and they will kill you. The only way to keep your identity is by wearing the necklace of your mother."
