Tiana's point of view:
I made my way to the royal garden in which both my father and Aeron were standing side by side.
From my point of view, I can tell that they were down for a serious conversation.
Well, being not only a vampire but also a hybrid kind of gives me a privilege. I didn't need to approach them to hear what I needed to hear.
All I needed was to focus all my interest on the conversation between them, that way I could hear it all as if I was standing by their sides.
"I'm afraid that if they know that she's not only a vampire but also the damn wolf, they might reject her to be the next queen."
My father started sharing his worried thoughts with the devil himself. Aeron, on the other hand, was faking interest. I'm sure that's on the inside, he was rejoicing the moment.
"I don't get it! How did she end up being a wolf?"
His question troubled my father from what I could see. Yet, he managed to get himself out of it.
"I have no idea" He lied… "Perhaps, they did something to her when they took her!"
I stood there while being shocked at how well my father was lying.
I mean, my entire reality turned upside down by the way he looked as if lying was not a crime.
The same way he used to lie while speaking each and every word he was telling me. The same way he made me believe that my mother preferred to die than to raise me.
All he was doing his entire life was lying at me, and everyone around him. I wondered at that point if anything he ever told me was honest.
Looking at the entire situation, I felt my heart ashes out of pain. I mean, is it that way how he used to treat me, while I never dared even to disobey anything he asked.
I was even getting married to Aeron while I had no feeling for him in order to please my dear father.
I've always believed whatever he taught me, but he was no different from everyone else.
Not wanting to hear more, not because I cannot but only because I don't want to. I mean, I've been through a lot of pain lately, and I don't feel like needing any other sorts of pain… I decided to make my way while running at full speed as I threw myself at Aaron's embrace, just the same way I did in the cave when I asked for his help. He then handed me to the wolves, caring about what I've been through.
"Aeron", I called his name softly while faking emotions just like they all have been doing to me.
"I miss you! I thought that something bad happened to you… Where have you been all this time?"
The look on his face made me feel as if I was about to laugh, but I tried hard not to do so.
He was in trauma; I know he was expecting me to end up doing what I was really going to do if it wasn't for Juana.
He thought I was going to tell my father everything, yet; he was surprised noticing that my father didn't cut his head off the moment he saw him and that I was asking that way about him.
"I miss you too!" He spoke oddly while trying not to look odd.
I felt like dying out of laughter, but I tried my best to maintain a serious expression.
"I made it!" I started while acting proud, "I made it out alive… I mean, my father told me that you were there to rescue me, but then what have you been doing all those times? If I relied on you, only God knows what will happen to me."
"We were circling the pack, yet couldn't risk attacking since we couldn't detect where you were! I believe they were relying on the help of a witch." He explained, and again I was surprised how they all lie easily.
"I do understand!" I nodded, then looked at my father.
"Father, can I have a world with my fiancée in my room, alone?"
My father chuckled then state before that he dismissed himself.
"Take him for all the time you need him." He wasn't hiding the satisfaction parking in his eyes since all he's planning for is happening right in front of his sight.
He adores gathering strong vampires by his side, and Aeron is a priority for him. Little did he know about who he's trusting.
I sweetly thanked him while crossing arm to arm along with Aeron as if I was madly in love with him.
Once my father was out of sight, I let go of the jerk, then ordered him as a Queen would.
"Follow me!"
Knowing that he was in no situation to argue, he did as I told him and followed me.
