Kapitel 74: When you are ready

Karina turned her head when she noticed that someone walked into the room. Realizing that it was Veron, she flashed him a small smile. After their parents left that morning, Nori let her in on everything that happened apart from the fact that it was Salome who pushed her and what she had discussed with Veron.

"Hey," Karina greeted him and he walked to the side of her bed

"Hey, beautiful," Veron responded to her greeting, returning her smile.

Karina put on a confused frown when she heard the way he addressed her and he let out a soft chuckle. Grabbing a chair, he sat down beside her bed and looked down at her with a smile still on his face.

"What's that look? You didn't know you're beautiful?" He asked.

"I do, but it's strange coming from you," Karina answered honestly. He sounded so... She didn't have words to describe it, but it gave her a strange feeling hearing him address her like that.

"How are you feeling now?"
