Nori pushed the door to the bedroom open and paused by the entrance. Confusion clouded her expression as her eyes darted around the room.

'What is going on here?' She queried in her head at the state she met Karina and the room entirely. This wasn't what she was expecting. Not that she was expecting anything in particular, just that the sight before her was unusual and strange.

After running away from Gideon, she only came to realize when she was almost at the door that running away was not necessary. But she couldn't blame herself. What he did scared the shit out of her.

Truly, when he had started speaking, she immediately had a word to counter his claims, knowing Veron already had those details.

However, the real shock started when he took the words out of her mouth as if he could hear her thinking them. And to top it off, he mentioned black trail mountain.
