"Like I said, we'll see," Lin replied with a grin and Ava shook her head and slid out of the car. They went to the grey vanand tried opening the door.
"Locked," Ava said.
Lin took out his knife and shoved it past the rubber sealing strip of the window of the van. The door popped open, and slid into the front seat, while Ava sat next to him. He then sorted through the wires until he found the two he needed and rubbed them together, as the engine turned on.
He backed out of the slot, taking it easy, and two minutes later they were on the road. Settled in for a long drive.
"You still haven't told me a place where we can stay," Lin said.
"And you still haven't told me whether or not you'll untie me if I give you that information," Ava replied.
