"Did he really say that?"

Eric looked at the stone faced youth in front of him. Lin was sitting on the couch with his hand on his chin, lost in thought.

"Well, I did tell you that he wouldn't budge from his position. That guy is a psychopath. His mind probably works in a different way."

They were staying at a private hotel close to the Presidential House, courtesy of the Government of Zaire. Even though the meeting didn't go as they had expected it to go, they were still considered a guest of the President.

"So, now what?"

Eric turned to face Lin, and asked him. He didn't believe that the plan was to just talk with Yani and to persuade him into changing his mind. He knew Lin well enough, and he knew that Lin wouldn't just give up.

"Well, I do have a plan. But for that, I am going to need to meet with a few other people."

Lin looked to Eric, who in turn stared at him confusedly. 

"Are you talking about his allies?"
