Harry was also a little depressed that his "treasure" was Ron.
It hadn't been a big deal, but it was proof of his friendship with Ron, but when Fish said it, it felt weird.
Harry looked helplessly at the students around him who were holding back laughter, and let out a long sigh....
If only his "treasure" was Cho Chang, even if the school had approached Qiu Zhang, they wouldn't have approved, right?
Harry became even more depressed when he thought about it.
"By the way, according to the handwriting on the golden egg, after an hour, the supposed 'treasure' won't be back, so will Ron and the others be in danger?"
Dennis Creevey, first year, suddenly spoke up.
Don't talk about that...
Harry looked at him without saying anything, then looked back at Fish, to see what he would say.
"Yeah... that was a mistake on Fish nya's part."
??ω??
Fish scratched his head, also confused.
Fish didn't believe that Professor McGonagall would do anything against a Hogwarts student and Mercus, the leader of the Black Lake Sirens, knew Hermione and there was no way he would do anything to her.
"How is that possible?" Fred waved his hand, his opinion was the same as Fish's, "There's no way Professor McGonagall would let anything happen to them, the letters were probably asking the champions to try and take people out within an hour, just as we suspected before, after an hour, or it would be considered a failure, or a point deduction or something."
As the Golden Egg clue had been deciphered very early on, the group of people had basically deciphered the general content of the second event, and there had been much speculation about the 'treasure', with the most common speculation being that the so-called 'treasure' was a clue to the third event, as well as the Golden Egg.
Now that it has been confirmed that the 'treasure' is actually a human being, the design of the entire event is basically clear.
After hearing Fred and the others' analysis, Harry was relieved because Dennis had led him astray and he had thought Ron would not return.
"Well... I don't care!" Fish was rapidly losing patience with the whole "Fish is going out to play nya!" thing.
??ω??
And with that, he jumped into the hole in the wall in three steps and dove in.
Seeing Fish come out, the girls left the common room, and the rest of the boys looked at each other and stood up.
"Well... Harry you should get some rest too, you have a match tomorrow."
They all wished Harry well before leaving, and after reading some more, Harry yawned and went to sleep in his dorm.
??ω??
After leaving the dormitory, Fish paced for a while, then lay on the floor, wagging his tail in irritation.
Without Hermione tonight, Fish felt like he was missing something, and there was no point in wandering around the castle.
After lying there for a while, growing more and more irritated, Fish began to roll, kick, and wriggle around on the floor.
"Nya!"
=`Ä'=
Fish jumped up from the ground, pounced on a nearby armor and frantically clawed at the armor's legs, claws scratching at the armor with a screeching sound.
After scratching the armor's legs and leaving numerous claw marks, Fish was satisfied and returned to his quarters to sleep.
...
"Fish, Fish, it's time to get up!"
The next morning, Fish's eyes widened at the call of his roommates.
"Nya..."
?Φω???
??′Д`??
Fish rubbed his eyes and yawned heavily before mumbling, "What time is it nya?".
"It's eight forty, go to the Great Hall for breakfast, the second event is about to start."
Harry replied as he straightened his clothes.
Even though he was fully prepared, he was still a little nervous at the moment of truth, because this was the fourth time he was tidying his clothes and his wand, and he was afraid that something will be left behind.
Fish licked his fur and rubbed his face for a while in his cat form before returning to his human form and joining the group in the Great Hall for breakfast.
Hermione and Ron were still absent, and it was all but confirmed that the "treasure" in the song was them.
After breakfast, Fish and Harry, surrounded by everyone else, walked out of Hogwarts Castle onto the lawn between the castle and the Black Lake, on the opposite side of which were the seats that had been placed around the Fire Dragon pen last November, which were already mostly full.
The five judges were seated at another table by the water, covered with a golden tablecloth, and Fleur and Krum were already standing waiting.
"Hello nya!"
?ΦωΦ?
Fish greeted everyone with a cheerful smile, and Harry followed suit, nodding to Fleur and Krum.
And Harry also noticed that Mr. Barty Crouch wasn't present this time either, it was still Percy instead.
Noticing Harry's look, Percy smiled and nodded to him.
That's why Harry didn't notice that Ludo Bagman looked distinctly uncomfortable when he saw Fish.
But Bagman quickly adapted, got up from the referee's table and explained the details of the event to the champions, instructing them to line up on the edge, three meters apart each.
After lining up the champions, Bagman returned to the referee's table, glanced at his watch and signaled the champions to get ready.
Harry, Fleur and Krum quickly removed their robes, shoes and socks, revealing their swimsuits and briefs, as well as the wands at their waists.
"Nya!"
?????
Fish looked at them in disbelief...dressed so scantily, wouldn't they be cold?
"Wait till you get in the water, those clothes will keep you from swimming."
Fleur rubbed her arms with goose bumps, reminding her of Fish.
Fish blinked, and then his body began to shrink, as his clothes turned to black and white fur, and in the blink of an eye, a cat-man who looked like him at the Christmas party, but was twice as small and without clothes, appeared in front of the group.
"Fish can do this nya!"
?(=`?'=)?
Fish said smugly to Fleur, raising his tail.
"Sonorus!"
Bagman's thunderous voice interrupted the gasps from the audience.
"Listen everyone, our champions are in position. As soon as my whistle blows, the second event will begin. You have one full hour to make up what has been taken from you. I will count to three. One... two... three!"
The shrill whistle echoed through the still, cold air as Fish, now transformed into a small cat-man, dove headfirst into the water to the cheers and applause of the audience.
Both Harry and Fleur had huge bubbles on their heads, which made them look a bit funny... it was a bubble head spell that Fish was very familiar with, while Krum had turned into a shark head, which looks weird.
"Nyajajajajajajajajajaja..."
Fish spat a series of bubbles out of his mouth and waved to the trio as they entered the water before turning and swimming deeper.
He didn't need to look around like the other three champions, but he had time to sniff around and say hello to the occasional Kanaloa descendants who happened to be passing by, after all, it had been cold lately and he hadn't been to the bottom of the lake in a while.
In fact, Harry, Fleur and Krum thought about following Fish and letting him lead them to the mermaids.
Unfortunately, the bottom of the lake was so dark, with the dense grass blocking their vision and Fish's direction changing all the time, it wasn't long before they lost it and got dizzy.
After playing for a while, Fish remembered his business and swam towards the mermaid village.
Only halfway through the swim, he was struck by a silvery-white light....
There's fish!
