Zhai Kuijun sat silently while Elder Yue was lost in his own thoughts. Zhai Kuijun didn't rush him to talk.
"You must despise my incompetency," said Elder Yue.
Zhai Kuijun frowned before he understood his meaning and shook his head, "Not really. I just had been disappointed in you."
Elder Yue laughed self-deprecatingly, "Right. Disappointed. I'm really a disappointment. I guess that's what Ah-Yue felt as well; disappointment."
Zhai Kuijun didn't say anything and silently acquiesced. Because he couldn't bring himself to deny that. It'd be a surprise if Yue Yue wasn't disappointed in her own father. Anyone would be. No matter how much of a kind person she was, she also had limits. Even if you stretch rubber for too long, eventually it snaps. Yue Yue was a human. How could she not snap?
Wooo...
We are at 1000 chapters. Wow!
This is my second time reaching this milestone and I can't explain what I am feeling right now.
First of all, I'd like to thank you all as always for being with me on this journey. It'd have not been possible to get here without your support and love. I'd have given up long ago if not for you all. So, I am truly thankful to you all. I can't even explain how much gratitude I have for you guys.
I have the best readers in the world and I find myself very lucky for that.
Second, you must have already noticed the announcement from WN regarding my mass release. I signed up for the mass release event and I signed up for three days. So, we have lots of surprises coming up.
Happy reading ^_^
