Kapitel 8: Pro

The room fell quiet once more, with most people in the bar not anticipating that this casually dressed tourist was here to find someone from the Black Ninja Clan.

Many eyes instinctively shifted to the group of individuals sitting at the wine table in the distance—members of the Black Ninja Clan.

One of them rose from his seat, swaying toward Max. Clearly inebriated, he regarded Max with a haughty expression and said, "What do you want with us?"

Max offered a faint smile. "It's nothing. I just want you to pass on a message."

"A message you say," The ninjas got up.

"Yeah, Tell him to wash his neck and wait for me, because I'm coming to kill him!"

The man's expression darkened on hearing this, and he looked at Max with a mixture of anger and disdain. Without warning, he clenched his fist and swung it toward Max.

Was this kid out of his mind?

How dare he utter such words?

The onlookers waited to see how Max would be dealt with, but the man's fist stopped inches from Max's face.

A black barrel pressed against the man's forehead, and the corners of Max's lips curled upwards.

Thud!

Instantly, the people at the nearby tables stood up, and the bar fell into an eerie silence.

No one had expected Max to be armed with a gun.

It's worth noting that the Black Ninja Clan was Japan's most formidable criminal syndicate. The fact that this guy had sought them out, threatened to inform their leader of his intent to kill him, and then pulled a gun was... simply insane.

" I don't care who you are, whether you've had too much to drink or you want to die, you'd better lower your weapon now!"

"Otherwise, I guarantee you won't leave this bar alive!"

The man with the gun pointed at his head spoke sternly. He was a member of the Black Ninja Clan, and he couldn't believe that anyone would actually dare...

"Bang!"

A gunshot rang out suddenly, and the smell of gunpowder lingered in the air.

The man fell slowly to the ground, blood seeping onto the floor.

"He had been shot, actually shot! This guy is insane, utterly insane!"

Even the Black Ninja Clan members were stunned, but their reflex was to reach for their own weapons. However, Max hadn't even touched the gun holstered on his body before he fired again.

With his arm raised, he held the gun in one hand.

His eyes remained unchanged, as if he were shooting at targets during target practice.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Several individuals fell to the ground, each shot directly between the eyes.

Only one person remained standing, his hands on his waist, but he didn't dare to draw his weapon. He saw the unwavering look in Max's eyes, and his expression hadn't changed at all... It hadn't changed one bit! This guy was a professional hitman, no doubt about it!

"Do you remember my message?" Max inquired.

"I remember, I remember..."

"Very well," Max nodded in satisfaction, then turned and exited.

As Max pushed the door open and left, the bar gradually regained its lively atmosphere.

"Who's this guy?"

"He's too ruthless!"

"Thankfully, I didn't provoke him, or else..." Many people looked at the lifeless bodies on the ground with a mixture of gratitude and fear, deciding not to mess with him!

Observing the sole representative of the Black Ninja Clan, it seemed that his luck was unusually good. Everyone knew that they hadn't killed him to let him spread the word, but the merciless killer hadn't given them any choice at all!

Ten minutes later, the door of the bar swung open, and the man rushed out, hastily making his escape.

"The one who led the way has finally emerged!"

In the different space, Max grew a bit impatient as he waited.

Indeed, Max had a plan not only to let the man deliver the message but also to have him lead the way!

Whether out of fear or because there was no transportation, this man ran the entire way. Max trailed behind him, and within 20 minutes, they arrived at a heavily guarded house. There were at least ten guards stationed outside, armed with guns, and the security arrangement left almost no blind spots!

"Boss, boss..."

He encountered no hindrance upon entering the premises and quickly found a middle-aged man covered in tattoos.

This man was the leader of the Black Ninja Clan, Harada.

Before the leader could utter a word, the man who had led Max there spoke eagerly.

He recounted the entire sequence of events, from Max's initial inquiry about the Black Ninja Clan to his request to deliver a message, and then the swift and ruthless execution of his comrade. He even provided a detailed description of Max's appearance.

"Who was this man?"

Harada had never imagined encountering an adversary who could pose a threat to him. Was this person not an adversary? Or was he a hitman hired by an adversary? But if it was a hitman, why was he being so audacious?

However...

A sudden realization dawned on him. Just that very morning, he had secretly met with an unexpected individual and made a certain deal!

Could it be that someone wanted to eliminate him tonight?

"You can leave now. No matter who he is or where he's hiding, find out for me by turning every stone!" The leader waved dismissively.

"Yes, boss!"

The man nodded and turned to leave. As he was about to find someone to create a sketch of Max's appearance, a gunshot rang out—a sound that had originated from the room he had just exited...
