Kapitel 8: Tournament: Second Battle

Arriving on the battlefield I look at my opponent who was already in combat position he seemed very excited about the match he was among the notable extras of the tournament and seemed to be a battle fanatic.

"Hey boy your performance in the previous fight was amazing you might even be stronger than me, but I will never give up I will overcome my limits and beat you!" He said looking at me excitedly.

'Now another battle maniac, these are the best for sure' I smile internally.

Borgos then flies above us and was getting ready to start the match, getting into battle position I notice that the Saiyan in front of me makes a move even before Borgos starts the fight.

"I can't wait for any longer Haaaaaaaa" the Saiyanin in front of me then wraps himself over the aura of ki in the White color and attacks me.

Not waiting for Borgos to start the fight anymore, I charge against my opponent and we clash, exchanging punches and kicks.

I wasn't fighting seriously yet because I wanted to push my opponent to his limit.

Landing a powerful punch to his belly I send him flying backward causing him to crash into a large rock opening a deep hole in the process.

Flying towards yours to observe the hole's entrance I notice that yellow light was blinking at a slightly slow interval from inside the hole when an energy attack comes out from inside destroying the entrance and making it bigger than it was before.

With the energy attack coming at my location I quickly bring my KI to my right hand and slap the energy attack deflecting the attack into the skies and lighting up the night.

"Ha Ha Ha amazing you are the strongest opponent I've ever fought," says the Saiyan coming out of the hole all bruised and bloody spitting blood on the rocky floor.

"Enough kidding, I'll show you what a real energy attack is" I say getting into position to launch KaMeHaMeHa I channel my ki to my hands forming a sphere of blue energy that starts to light up the night.

"KAAAAAAA"

"MEEEEEEE"

"HAAAAAAA"

"MEEEEEEE"

"HAAAAAAA"

Then putting my hands forward aiming at the Saiyan I unleash my attack.

"HA HA HA IT ATTACKS ME WITH ALL ITS POWER!!! I WILL OVERCOME MY LIMITS HERE AND NOW!" shouts the euphoric Saiyan, taking my attack with his bare hands.

Watching the euphoric Saiyan receive my attack with his bare hands trying desperately to deflect my KaMeHaMeHa like I deflected his energy attack with his hands I smile.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" the Saiyan screams trying to gather energy to deflect my attack that was hurting him a lot and obliterating his "prehistoric clothes".

"Haaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaa" Using more euphoric screams he gets the necessary strength and deflects my attack to the right side going straight to the crowd of Saiyans that watched the fight.

Seeing that my attack would hit the Saiyans I make movements with my hands and control my attack that at the last moment before hitting the Saiyans goes up avoiding causalities.

With the Saiyans now saved I look at my opponent who was panting a lot with his heavy and irregular breathing, he had some serious injuries mainly on his hands and was practically naked so he looks at me and smiled.

"I did it, I surpassed my limits" he says with difficulty and starts to lose consciousness as I blink from my position I caught the shoulders supporting him still flying above the ground due to my small physique compared to an adult.

(I'm still a kid after all)

"What an Incredible battle!" shouts Borgos leading the crowd of Saiyans.

So I carry the Saiyan who was smiling unconsciously to our healers who were treating other Saiyans who were recovering with some miraculous, not to say magical, herbs.

"Take care of him he tried too hard" I say calmly to a very pretty female Saiyan who had a very kind and shy smile on her face.

"Get those perverts out of my son's arms" I hear my mother scream making me look in the direction of her voice.

"Take care of him please" I then quickly hand my opponent over to the healer and fly to my mother who was with my father following her.

"Does mom have to be so outrageous all the time?" I seriously said she's been acting very protective lately

"I was just trying to protect you," she retorts.

"Well, it doesn't matter" I shrug.

"Congratulations on the victory like this is your friend's situation" says my father with a very slight smile on the corner of his mouth.

"Not good for now but will recover quickly don't worry"

I said earlier that the herbs used by the healer are well known in the village and their effects are notorious.

"I believe that until the next phase he will be at his peak again"

"And you don't need treatment do you?" says my mother who starts scouring my body

"I'm fine I haven't used all my strength yet don't worry" I say tapping the handle of my sword which doesn't go unnoticed by my parents who nod their heads understanding what I meant.

"You should fully demonstrate your skills before the ceremony is over to earn a name worthy of your skills," says my father seriously.

"Don't worry dad, I plan to demonstrate my sword skills in the finals if no one is strong enough to force me to use it first" I say excitedly about the battles to come.

"Good" says, my father.

So the stage passed quickly again with some extras fighting each other.

Among the opponents that I thought were skilled enough would only be 3 Saiyans being 2 men and 1 woman.

There were supposed to be 4 skilled Saiyans but there was a fight between 2 Saiyans previously between the new entrants of the second phase they almost killed each other.

With the second phase concluded, Borgos makes his announcement so that the 3rd phase of the tournament can begin.
