Kapitel 11: (Living room.)
Chapter eleven:
Heaven mother... Heaven isn't what it used to be. It is just as bright, just as warm but your children... we aren't well, we are on the edge, anxious, fearful, angry, and all of it came from that stupid prophecy. Infinity said as she declined a glass of whiskey Amharic offered.
I don't blame you but you having left hasn't done any wonder's for it either. Everyone is fearful of the apocalypse, especially now that Mephisto is on earth as well, in the same universe, whichever you probably already know by now. Living Tribunal has already descended from the Heavens and is trying to convince Mephisto to go back to hell so that you two don't have to meet, he felt like everyone is afraid of you two fighting and I don't... I don't know what to do... I don't know how to fix any of this... Infinity told them frustrated.
The One Above All sighed as she downed her drink and leaned back into the couch. I don't know either darling. I once thought I knew the plan, I thought I lied to you and Mephisto back then when I told you I did protect you but now I see that I actually haven't. The One Above told her second oldest daughter.
You lied to us? Infinity asked shock, she thought her mother would never lie, the One Above All abhors liar's so hearing her admit to once lying is quite a shock.
Yes... The One Above All said with a sigh. I believed once ago was the plan to create a being, a being that would escape the plan. I at first thought that being was destined to be Mephisto, that Mephisto would one day achieve it, but now I see that I was wrong. The One Above All told Infinity.
Now I can't think of a single reason why we are going up against each other. Is it because he is disappointed in me? Does he with to punish me for failing him as a mother? Or am I punishing Mephisto for rebelling against me? The One Above All says as she pours out tears from her eyes.
Infinity as she hears this gain's a large frown on her face as she herself is in contemplation.
Maybe... maybe you are looking at this prophecy from a wrong angle. Amharic says as he leans away from his head from his wife's shoulder.
As he says this the One Above All and Infinity look at him in confusion as he then explained by saying. Maybe... maybe the prophecy is all wrong.
Infinity snorts as she responds by saying. All wrong? I apologize father but I can't see any good coming from the prophecy.
