Kapitel 3: Chapter 3: Three Baldie King

Elsa's POV

Although I wanted to check the extent to which my physical body had been enhanced by the serum or how many things I could do now with my power, it was in my house, after all, and I did not like breaking my things.

I thought: 'Let's do this tomorrow; I will simply leave New York to test my powers.'

Having made up my mind, I decided to do what I could now, which was to gather information about what kind of Marvel World I was truly in.

The original Elsa had just come to New York, and there wasn't enough information about this world from her memory since she had been living in another dimension.

I only managed to determine that I was in the Marvel World because Elsa had turned on the TV, and the first thing she saw was news about Tony Stark.

There was a computer in the house. After all, despite being in 2005, computers had long existed in this world, even the internet, which should have only started flourishing now but was already comparable to that in 2016 in my old world.

I could only sigh that this world was full of geniuses. If they had concentrated on developing civilian technology, Tony Stark or Reed Richards might have already created a virtual world like in Sword Art Online, but still.

Speaking of it, although before transmigrating, I had only lived five years in prison, from 2024 to 2029, which isn't much compared to others, I was feeling overly bored during that time and may make my subjects build some entertainment that I wished for while in prison.

In fact, although I was having those idle thoughts, that wasn't the case for my body because I had already started doing research on the computer. This may be due to the Super Soldier Serum enhancing my brain's ability, almost developing parallel thoughts, although not completely.

I didn't care whether SHIELD or some shady organization would be spying on my computer or looking through my search history, so I directly typed the names of the most important people I wanted to know about.

The reason? Because as a Queen, I never planned to hide my identity or play low-key, especially with my system that wants me to grow my Kingdom.

Since I was sure Tony Stark and mutants existed, I typed Reed Richards, and sure enough, some information about him appeared, which raised the danger level of this universe.

Next, I searched for Dr. Donald Blake, and fortunately, there wasn't any information. This was the human identity of Thor when he was exiled by Odin in the comics, saving me from much of the comics' nonsense.

To be more cautious, I looked for news about Genosha and Krakoa, after all, who knows what is happening, but fortunately, there wasn't much information about them either.

Finally, it took me about fifteen minutes to have a rough understanding of which world I was in, and I must say that the situation wasn't bad. Although there were some comic elements, they weren't overwhelming.

I murmured: "Now that the situation isn't that dire, let's satisfy my belly before planning the future."

I mean, I hadn't eaten anything since transmigrating into this world, plus after enduring prison food for five years, I could finally taste good food again, and I was very excited about the idea.

It didn't take long. In only five minutes, I was already prepared and at the door of my house, just about to leave when a black car stopped right in front of me, followed by five others.

'Great, is it SHIELD, Hydra, the US military, or some other group?' This was my first thought, as I didn't doubt they were coming for me, just wondering which group it was.

And to be honest, I didn't feel scared in the slightest but more excited. Deep down, I was even hoping it was Hydra so that I could have a punching bag durable enough to withstand my power and release the frustration accumulated in prison.

But of course, I wasn't arrogant enough to think I was invincible and didn't fear anything. I was already 100% on guard. The proof? There were already some ice spears that I had made instinctively.

After some men who looked very trained came out of the car, all with guns in hand, I heard someone speak.

"Calm down, miss. We don't mean you any harm. We're here to discuss."

He caught my attention, and well, it was one of the three bald admirals on Earth, Nick Fury.

Well, at least that's what I call them. I don't even know why Stan the Goat liked to make bald people awesome in Marvel when he wasn't even bald in the first place.

Still, I was very surprised because, even if it was SHIELD, they should have sent agents like Black Widow or Hawkeye. It's like the military sending the commander to the front lines when soldiers are available.

After making sure it was SHIELD and not Hydra, though I didn't rule out that 70% of the agents here might be from Hydra, I knew they represented SHIELD at this moment. Still, I realized the fight I was expecting might not happen.

I replied: "I see, you truly didn't mean any harm to me. After all, you only showed up with five cars full of armed men just to discuss with me."

Fury's face twitched slightly. I don't know what he was thinking, but obviously, he didn't expect me to react so calmly and even have time for a little sarcasm.

But well, as the 'spy king,' he managed his expression well and returned to normal. He said: "It's just for protection. After all, not every new mutant can control their power."

It was only then that I understood they had most likely mistaken me for a newly awakened mutant. At the same time, I began to notice that my control over the atmosphere was weakening.

I said: "I see. So you have something that can restrict a mutant's power?"

Without waiting for his response, I used the element Elsa was most familiar with and which I had the best control over: Ice.

They didn't even have time to react, due to my enhanced physique, before I had already frozen all the cars they came in, including the instruments inside.

It was only then that I felt the disturbance to my power was gone, and I was relieved.

'Huh, Director, I think you should look behind.'

That's what I heard thanks to my enhanced hearing from Nick's communicator. After receiving the message, he didn't hesitate to turn around. The agents accompanying him did the same because they shared the same channel and heard the message.
