Kapitel 14: CH14- American Dream

3rd Person View

In a Sokovian airport, six people, three men and three women, who were clad in black suits and glasses, walked towards a specific gate of the airport. A gate that had a plane ride from there in Sokovia, all the way to New York City in the US of A. The Land of the Free.

The man in front of this group walked up to the Skycap and lifted up his glasses. The Skycap's eyes glowed yellow and checked in all of them without a second thought or any sign of hesitation. They all stepped onto the loading bridge and were met by the flight attendant when they approached the entrance to the plane.

The leader did the same thing to the flight attendant, as she diligently led them to the back of the plane where they would fly first class completely free of charge. After they were certain that no one else was back there, the suits and glasses suddenly disappeared in a red light, revealing regular clothes behind them.

These six individuals were obviously, Azrael, Wanda, Pietro, Laura, Chris, and Hisako. This group has successfully managed to sneak onto a plane right under the noses of those pesky tracking HYDRA agents.

The group was now freely on their way to New York City with no hindrance.

Azrael Maximoff View

It was a great relief that we finally got onto the plane, I really didn't want to deal with HYDRA right now, or in the near future. I sat back into the seat and relaxed, occasionally messing around with my mind powers.

But as I was messing with my powers, I couldn't help but think about my reincarnation.

'I haven't put much thought into it, but we've all swept my resurrection under the rug and chalked it up as the mind stone being able to do that. Now that I think about it, the mind stone did not have such abilities in the MCU nor the comics. So what did happen?'

Wanda described the scene that day, that my flesh, organs, hair and etc were all being formed around an expanded skeleton while under a yellow aura.

'Perhaps the energy of the mind stone, the soul merging, and the reincarnation process all had different effects on what was seen that day? It's a possibility.' All I knew is that the mind stone did have an effect, but it didn't entirely bring me back, not at all.

Laura Kinney View

Everyone had their own rows in first class, but I had no interest in sitting by myself, so while everyone was distracted by either sleeping, watching movies on the screen in the seats, or having a conversation, I snuck my way to the back where Azrael sat.

When I made it back there, I saw that Azrael was seated by the window seat and had his eyes closed, perhaps taking a nap. I sat next to him and placed my ear on his chest to hear his heart beat.

Many would find that odd, but the sound of his heart beat was calming. No matter what the situation was, his heart beat was always steady. It was comforting.

My eyes started to close from tiredness. When I was on the run I had always fought my tiredness to avoid potentially being caught. I was trying to do that now, but his calming heart beat had extremely relaxed me.

I wrapped my arms around his waist to keep myself comfortably hoisted over his heart beat as I peacefully slept.

Eventually, the plane carrying our group of rebels had landed in New York City. Azrael was initially surprised when he awoke to Laura cuddling him. She was more than likely unfamiliar with the term he would use.

The group used the same tactics they used in Sokovia there in New York to seamlessly leave the airport, this time without the ridiculous suits.

With money they all saved up from robbing the HYDRA agents they'd disposed of during their initial escape, they bought a decent hotel room for them all to sleep in.

Chris, Pietro, and Azrael all universally agreed that the ladies took the beds, while the boys would find somewhere else to sleep. Azrael took one of the futons, Pietro took another futon, while Chris had to sleep on the floor with extra blankets and pillows brought by room service.

Laura refused to sleep by herself so she occupied the futon with Azrael, allowing Wanda and Hisako to each get their own bed to themselves. Pietro was visibly upset that he missed his chance to cuddle with Hisako for the night, seeing that Laura slept with Azrael without a word needing to be discussed between the two.

Everyone at this point was used to the relationship dynamic that Laura and Azrael had shared, and everyone found it cute. It was an unlikely relationship that had come into beautiful fruition.

(A/N: Sorry that this chapter is on the shorter side, so here's a sneak peak to the CW Flash fic. I'm gonna release it anyway, but if I get enough motion I might release it sooner than later. You don't have to read it if you don't want to, it won't affect the reading immersion of this fic.)

-3rd Person View-

In a DC galaxy far far away, an unknown light appeared in outer space. This light had no reason for existing, in fact, it was somewhat manmade. This light was an energy source that was formed from the willpower of years worth of suffering souls under the sight of the stars.

This energy source had the potential to be something great, it had the power to save the DC Multiverse.

The DC multiverse was being torn apart and rebuilt in front of so many people's very eyes by the Dark Knights, but they can't see it, they can't even notice it. The endless number of people who suffered because of this group, had somehow managed to have this light source made.

The light source was searching for someone to successfully become its host. It searched across the DC multiverse for a long time, not finding anyone suitable, but the source realized that there were other multiverses.

In multiverse G-14, Universe 420, Earth 69, it found him. It found Isaac. Isaac Allen was going to save the DC multiverse from plummeting into permanent darkness. This man comes from a world where DC is a mere comic book studio company who indulges in TV and movies, but his opinions and beliefs suggested otherwise. He knew the truth.

He knew that there was a way to leave his multiverse and go anywhere else. He knew that fiction, could be more than fictional.

He's the perfect host for the Star Force, because he's not afraid of the challenge, he's different. He fully embraces it.
