The corner of his mouth hooked up and his mischievous eyes flashed with humor.

"Sorry for disturbing your peace, mistress," Zed said in his low hoarse voice which was very pleasant to the ears. Unfortunately.

"You.... don't call me that," I said feeling a little bit uneasy at his stare

"Hmm." He pushed off the wall and struts into the room, inviting himself in.

"I...you are not allowed into my room."

"By who?" He eyed the room and returned his gaze back to me. The playfulness was gone and his grey eyes became darker. I took steps back putting myself directly at the door, ready to bolt out in case he tried something. He looked very intimidating and I marveled at how easily he could change.

"Um, what brought you here?" I asked instead.

"I live here, remember? I can go anywhere I want."

"This is my room?" Does this guy have the slightest decorum? I'm his cousin in law for God's sake.
