As Diara stood at the threshold of the CEO's office, her breath caught in her throat. The sprawling expanse of glass windows and sleek, modern furnishings barely registered in her mind, for all she could see was Kellan. 

Her knight in shining armor, the man who had once come to her rescue, now sat behind a large, imposing desk, his presence commanding the space as if he were carved from stone. 

It was surreal, almost like a scene from a dream. The man she had admired from a distance, who had been a fleeting figure in her life, was actually the CEO of one of the most powerful companies in the city.

Her heart raced, not with nerves, but with excitement. This was it. This was her moment, her chance to reconnect with him, to remind him of that day.

 She couldn't help but smile, a wide grin that stretched across her face as she stepped into the room, feeling a strange mixture of giddiness and anticipation.
