LUNA
Dylan and I were in the car on our way home. The smile on my lips could not be erased as I looked at my husband. I still feel like I'm on cloud 9 because of what happened.
"Why are you smiling like a lunatic?" He said sweetly.
"I'm not smiling," I said, biting my lower lip.
"Yes, you are." he shuddered as he glanced at me.
I held his hand. "Dylan, thank you."
His forehead furrowed. "Why are you thanking me?"
"For loving me back," I said softly.
I felt him squeeze my hand, I sighed as his fingers played with the engagement ring that was there.
"No, thank you." He corrected. "For loving me and not giving up on me even if I hurt you too much. Thank you for still loving the beast me."
I placed his palm on my cheek. "Because I know, you're just using the beast Dylan as your trojan horse."
"Trojan horse?"
"Yeah. Deep inside, you're soft, gentle and lovable. You just need time to bring that out." I smiled.
He chuckled. "Gentle, huh? We'll see."
