Roseline's POV

"College of Management," the voice said, and my heart skipped a beat.

I turned around, and there stood Vincenzo, looking at me with a mix of surprise and curiosity. His unexpected appearance startled me, making me take my hand back from the mouse.

"Vincenzo!" I managed to say and stood up at my place. I was surprised because this was not his time to return from the office.

He stepped closer, his gaze lingering on the laptop screen. "What are you doing here?" he asked, his tone tinged with suspicion.

"I-I was just... filling out a scholarship form," I stammered, hoping he wouldn't probe further.

"A scholarship form? For what?" he inquired, his eyebrows furrowing.

"For the College of Management," I admitted, deciding to be honest "I want to continue with my studies"

Vincenzo's eyes widened, and a moment of silence passed between us. I couldn't predict his reaction, and I braced myself for a potential argument.
