Kapitel 59: Making him do unacceptable things

Roseline's POV

"We don't have a full day. Just come out; I don't want you to ruin my car," he spoke with a hint of annoyance, breaking the chain of my thoughts.

His voice carried a tinge of impatience that reached not only my ears but also the people around us.

I wrestled with conflicting emotions, torn between satisfying my hunger and maintaining my sense of self-worth.

The weight of passerby's scrutiny added to the pressure I felt, intensifying my internal struggle.

"Come out already" he ordered and this time in a stern voice. It seems like he will pull me out of the car forcefully if I don't listen to him.

Under the pressure of his order and my hunger my resolve finally broke and step out of the car. He moved the plate towards me as I was stood in front of him.

"You know, I am not sure if I can trust the quality of this street food. What if you have contaminated it with a potion that makes me burst into song every time I take a bite?" I asked
