Kapitel 31: Chapter 31: Framed

Alicia’s POV

It’s an odd feeling having Toby here with me. No one from my family has come to visit me since I married Adrian and moved in. It’s likely because of the war between the two packs, but nevertheless, it still feels good having my little brother here.

There was a lot of tension in the air as the five of us watched movies the night before. I could tell Adrian was annoyed at Toby showing up unannounced at that time of the night all because he wanted to check on me. I understand why Adrian would be suspicious given the history between the packs, but I know Toby would never come here just to infiltrate the Greenwood pack. I know him well enough.

When it was time to go to bed, I set Toby up in the media room with a pillow and blanket because there aren’t many places for him to sleep, so I figured the couch in the media room would be the best option.

“I’m glad to see you’re okay,” Toby had said to me when I was leaving the room. “Mom and dad truly are worried about you.”
