Kapitel 115: The Misunderstanding

Maria was sitted comfortably at her favorite spot by the window close to the garden when she heard some voices in the living room. She wasn't quite certain what it was, but she knew someone had drove into the compound. She wondered if Ursula and Marco were back already but that was highly impossible, mostly because it was barely an hour since they left. Maybe it was Zia, she thought. Yeah it was definitely Zia she concluded. She suddenly smiled. Zia was back which definitely meant that in no time, there would be scrapping of pots and pans and very enticing aroma filling the air. Her stomach suddenly grumbled. The thought of the miserly toast she had made became an irritation on comparison to what she could have had if Zia was around. For the first time in a very long time, she wished she actually knew how to cook.
