Kapitel 147: Chapter 148: The Shield of Britannia (7) (New)

Once onboard, the soldiers were surprised by the Navy soldiers' compassionate celebrations, and it was a decent dream as if the worst was over and the next stage wouldn't be so bad.

Some Soldiers even got a chance to talk to their families and build up their courage. The Tensity among them loosened with each passing hour. Smiles grew deeper.

Alexandra watched from the Captain's Cabin with a blank expression.

"Forgive me, lieutenant colonel Alexandra, and this plan sounds a bit cruel."

"Captain Hermina."

"Yes, Ma'am?" The older gentlemen put his papers down.

"In the rear, Mage's are treated very well, are they not."

"..." Captain Hermina nodded his head.

"..." For a while, Alexandra said nothing.

When the concept of Mage's was first discovered, Britannia was a relatively new country. The marvel of Magic and its Use was cherished deeply by the main religions that conquer the world. That is why its development and use in war are limited.

However, Britannia does not see magic like its counterparts, the Empire was born out of the Minor Faiths, and Religion exiled from the deeply routed large religions.

The Empire was the Only Country using Mage in their military. It outraged the other countries, but eventually, Britannia decided against sending them out to war and the battlefield, as the other countries were becoming increasingly hostile. The very few Battlemages that existed chose to do so as infantrymen rather than actual mages.

The Glycia family always became infantrymen despite their immense about of power, and they never became Mage. They Died in battle as fellow infantry. Britannia was surprised by the other countries simply because they didn't have a way to use mages at the time.

Otherwise, why would the Emperor so easily agree for the training of the mage's to be conducted this why. The other countries already unlike Britannia for being of a different faith. The hostile feelings never went away, and they have always been looking for a fight.

After Three Days…

Bang, a loud explosion sounded out. The sound of the Navy Vessel taring apart was heard, and the soldiers' panic was heard. Alarm and screams sounded out as the Soldiers were handcuffed and taken away like they were prisoners.

Such is the next trainer, where for the next thirty days without having a clue. The soldiers experienced the true meaning of being prisoners of war.

Another Month Passes…..

The mental breakdown and resilience-building training resulted in success as the soldier was immediately made to use the M103. Although shocked, it didn't stop them from following orders and successfully. Pulling up Impossible feats and expectations.

It only took a month to get them fully trained and three months to turn them into amazing battle soldiers.
