Kapitel 724: Proven Guilty, Verdict

In the room, the judge hearing Chen Lina's case was sitting opposite her, with the guards standing not far from them.

Because of the evidence and witness statements, the judge concluded that her guilt was proven. 

He took out a document from his bag and said, "The defendant Chen Lina was proven guilty for her crime of kidnapping, long-term abuse, and attempted murder. She will serve seventeen years in prison and undergo re-education." 

"She will compensate the victim, Li Shu, 3,000 yuan for mental and physical losses. The compensation must be paid within ten days, otherwise, an additional three years of punishment will be imposed," he added.

When Chen Lina heard that she would stay in prison for twenty years, her eyes widened in shock. She was pale and trembling with fear. Her limbs were cold, and her forehead and back were covered with a layer of cold sweat.
