Upon hearing Lu Jueyu's words, several young girls volunteered for these tasks. Since cleaning and peeling requires a lot of time, it takes five people to do it.

When they started working, Lu Jueyu divided the labor. The aunts will help prepare the tofu, chicken, pork, and other ingredients, the young girls will help with washing the ingredients, pans, and pots, while Pan Meijia and Chen Anwen assist her in cooking.

Pan Meijia and Chen Anwen were washing rice in the backyard which will be used to make steamed rice with pandan leaves. While she was alone, Lu Jueyu took out the seasonings for honey-roasted peanuts and spicy edamame from her space using her bamboo basket as a cover.
