"I can't believe it," Aldric said before taking another step.

Forgot to put the key, what kind of excuse is that.

"What?" Jenny was surprised by his response.

"Aldric, I completely forgot, who would lie with such a stupid thing," she said, trying to reassure him as she followed him.

Aldric ignored her. He had no conviction about this, but there was no point in discussing it.

Soon they arrived at the first floor again.

This time, Aldric saw that the three maids in this house were lined up beside the stairs to wait.
