Agnes shook her head, "not but what if His Grace-"

"You fool," Lilian gritted her teeth, "did you run from in front of him? How can you be so foolish to think we were in danger when Prudence mentioned it was an accident?" Lady Lilian was already infuriated by how she was so close to the tip of the sword and the maid was creating more troubles. She wanted to leave this place to safety of her mother and uncle. She was no fool to have Vincent's wrath. It was different when she used to submit her body to him. This time she was on the brink of submitting her life away.

"B-but His Grace will know," Agnes had no actual reasons to cover up the blunder she had done.

I recently realized there were few changes in the writing style which followed after I started writing every day for this book. It is simply because I couldn't dedicate that same amount of hours for one chapter, but I think I will pick back up on the old style after some time <3
