Kapitel 90: What happens in the woods stays in the woods

"You look like you're going on a date." Nico snorts when he sees me. "You are dressed to kill." 

I look down at myself. I don't know if I'd wear this to a date. I'm wearing the black dress I retrieved from Elena's room and have her scarf wrapped around my neck. 

I should have worn something warmer like pants, but I don't want Nico to know I have pockets. I want him to think I'm completely defenseless and this dress is the best choice. 

On the inside of its shorts are two pockets big enough for two phones to fit in. I would have carried a gun but that's too big to go undetected. Instead, I opted for loaded syringes and a switchblade. 

The syringes are what make me the most nervous. If an accident happens and I fall, I could end up dead myself. 

I also hope I don't have to use them. 

"I'm here." I say, trying to keep my voice from trembling. I'm freezing to the core. 

"Good. Come with me." He orders.
