I'm sitting across from Nico in a small cafe, a half hour drive away from the De Santi mansion. Their residence is in a luxurious neighborhood and takes up so much space that you wouldn't know they have neighbors. They would probably have to drive to their immediate neighbor's mansion. 

While I have never thought of living in a monstrosity of a house, I can't complain about the peace and quiet. I've always wanted to live in a quiet neighborhood in the suburbs, away from the bustle and noise of the city. I'd probably adopt a white Pyrenee or two, a few cats, maybe a cockatoo or parrot—or both. There's no such thing as too many pets. While Ivan and I were dating, the life of our imaginary house included a child or two.
