Kapitel 47: Deal

I give Esteban a call about an hour after he leaves with Catalina. He answers on the first ring. 

"It's just the Romano residence, not the North Pole. Are you afraid you will not see your little kitten again?" He grumbles as soon as the call connects. 

That's not what I'm concerned about but I ask, "have you dropped her off?" 

"She was welcomed with open arms." 

If everything goes as planned, I'll have her ask Simeon out for dinner soon. He knows they are biological father and daughter after all, he won't think much of it. However, there's still the tricky inconvenience called Deliah Crimson…

I don't want to think about that woman for now. Moreover, Cat will take care of her when the time comes. 

I'm more worried about whether or not Esteban will make it to the correctional center in time.
