"An accident; I just cut my hand with the vases," Kai said. "Not just the vases," Denzel said under his breath as he moved away, his words carrying a note of skepticism as he retreated from the scene. I rolled my eyes in exasperation, already growing weary of the drama that seemed to follow us at every turn. With a sigh, I left the bathroom, leaving Andrea to tend to Kai's injury.

As I made my way back to my room, I couldn't shake the lingering thoughts of Kai's words about Souline. Despite our differences, I couldn't deny that whatever they had shared wasn't solely based on physical attraction.
