"I'll be back later Madara-san, You can watch T.V in the meanwhile. I think channel numbers 678, 987, 888 should interest you." Ryu waved him goodbye and went to work.
He was mostly alone but the company of Madara did make his days happier. Though he had to admit, Madara was one hell of a slave driver.
"Hahaha." He remembered Madara eating pizza with bored eyes but his hands were moving faster than lightning. He tried his best to not laugh but in the end, Madara forced him to clean the already clean house twice.
He didn't know what to think about this new resident in his house.
Glancing at his watch he picked up his pace.
He couldn't be late and lose his job, Where would he bring the money for pizza then?
***
It had been a month since Madara had been living with Ryu, He didn't go out much. He had always been trying to come up with ways to return to his world.
He did remember Zetsu's nostalgic look while glancing at the sky. Was the way to travel between planets above?
He played around with chakra and started refining it. To defeat Hashirama he had come up with hundred ways and one of them was to filter chakra.
What? You have more chakra than me? Fine, I'll just turn my chakra better and denser.
This was the idea he had when he first came up with this 'Chakra Refining Skill' but since the chakra in his homeland was already pure enough there wasn't much effect, which disappointed him.
But the effects here were so exaggerated even he couldn't help but widen his eyes in surprise.
Never had he seen such dirty chakra. He pulled on the chakra as if he wanted to utilise it but just before he did he would make it go through a rotation. He repeated this method thousands of times and his body was finally brimming with chakra as it was in his 'glory' days.
He activated his Sharingan, It spun, slowly increasing in speed. From one tomoe to two and finally three.
But it didn't stop, the eyes spun faster and they changed. The three tomoe in his became hollow but the circle connecting them became larger and denser. Three vertical bars connected the middle portions of his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan to the end of his irises.
But the spinning didn't stop, Instead, it grew faster. A shade of purple extended from the edge of his eyes and seemingly devoured his Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, Concentric circles covered his eyeballs.
The Eyes of Samsara, The Rinnegan.
He felt them with his finger and complex emotions filled his heart. These eyes were the answer to everything.
Closing his eyes he sighed before opening them.
His eyes were back to their original dull black look.
Looking at the time he wondered what took Ryu so much time. He had to accept the fact that the food here was a hundred times better than anything he had ever eaten.
But he didn't know how to order pizza so he would just wait for Ryu to come before forcing him to get some.
It was nice to have such a convenient subordinate.
He exited the house and followed Ryu's chakra signature. Every lifeform had chakra, To be alive is to have chakra.
Flashing through the rooftops he arrived at what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse.
A bad premonition entered his heart.
He walked through the entrance and he saw a weird but beautiful girl laughing while licking her lips. She had long black hair and a curvaceous body. Her clothes were revealing and her hair was let loose.
His focus turned towards the mutilated corpse at her foot.
He knew the face all too well.
Madara closed his eyes and sighed. He started walking towards the excited girl and silently stood behind her. He could see every tremble her body had when she laughed and observed her 'artwork' on the ground.
Her headful of black hair bobbed up and down as if she was talking to herself.
Madara extended his hand and grabbed her head which caused her to yelp in surprise.
She looked back and saw a human standing behind her, 'What!? How did he come behind me? I didn't even notice him! Fuck!'
His dull black eyes bored into her. He lifted her into the air as she struggled under his grasp. She was strong. Stronger than any human he had seen till now.
But then again, she was still an ant.
Lifting her a bit higher he brought his hand down at what seemed like the speed of light and slammed her head straight into concrete.
*Smash* *Crack*
The ground cracked with her head embedded into it. She tried to lift her head but Madara's foot made her unable to even move her head.
In desperation, her wings popped out which surprised him. They flapped as hard as they could and Madara looked at it curiously.
He grabbed one and ripped it off.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Her screams were so loud that they permeated through the concrete.
A line of blood appeared on her back and flowed down endlessly. Soon her back was filled with blood but Madara paid no attention to it and kept his foot firmly on her head.
He roamed his hands around the wing. They were soft but they contained somewhat impure energy. His brows scrunched up in disgust.
His eyes locked back onto the girl.
He lifted her and threw her onto the ground as she trembled and twitched due to the pain. She lifted her teary eyes and met ones that were looking at her with absolute disdain. It made her shiver in anger and rage.
"Pathetic Vermin." His cold voice caused chills to run down her spine. "What are you? You clearly aren't human... Answer me now."
She lowered her head and bit her lip, she could tell no amount of seduction would work. She could only comply with him for now.
"I'm a D-Devil."
Devil? Were they demons? He wondered.
Madara's hands flashed and a stone chair appeared. He gracefully sat on it and rested his chin on his fist. "Explain."
The Devil was confused. What did he want to know about? Did he not know about the supernatural? Maybe, since he didn't know she was a devil.
"The world is filled with supernatural creatures such as Angels, Devils and Fallen Angels....."
She explained everything in under 3 minutes and Madara's eyes grew colder by the second.
"This world... It has no chance for peace." His eyes flashed purple for a second and the devil who was looking at him hopefully got crushed liked meat paste. Her flesh became mangled and her limbs twisted, her eyes got crushed and brain matter spilled everywhere.
Madara destroyed the stone chair and walked out leaving a mess behind him. His eyes landed on the moon. It was sitting there peacefully.
"This world needs to be cleansed."
There were no emotions in his voice. It was as flat as ice.
Angels? Devils? Fallen Angels? Dragons? Vampires? They were an infection in this seemingly peaceful world.
A dark light flashed through his eyes.
This time he wouldn't fail.
